Polarizing Cube Beamsplitters split randomly polarized beams into two orthogonal,linearly,polarized components-S-polarized light is reflected at a 90deg.Angle while P-polarized light is transmitted.Each beamsplitter consists of a pair of precision high tolerance right angle prisms cemented together with a dielectric coating on the hypotenuse of one of prisms.

Lasertec provide polarizing beam splitter cubes are epoxy free, making them suitable for high power applications with energy densities exceeding 10 J/cm2 at 1064 nm, including the super-broad bandwidth polarizer and the broadband, these polarizing beam splitters are made by fused silica, designed with 12.7mm x 12.7mm input faces and offer average transmission near 98% and average extinction ratios greater than 10,000:1
